Community Partnerships

Community Partnerships

Community partnerships are essential in continuing to advance the work of FOMAS within the Louisville Metro area. By working with local businesses and community partners, FOMAS can ensure that its programs continue to grow and evolve to help all those in need. These partnerships not only enhance animal welfare but also foster a sense of shared responsibility, promoting goodwill and civic engagement. Together, we create a more compassionate community where every animal has the chance to thrive.

Spudz/Kroger

In 2024, FOMAS announced a unique collaboration with Spudz Chips and Kroger to benefit Metro Animal Services (MAS). For a promotional period, every bag of Spudz popcorn sold at Kroger stores within our community supported FOMAS initiatives. This partnership represented a significant opportunity to raise essential funds for the care, treatment, and adoption of community animals. Kroger, a long-standing supporter of local initiatives and MAS, generously offered to feature Spudz popcorn prominently in their stores, making it easy for shoppers to participate. The funds raised supported FOMAS programs aimed at increasing adoptions and reducing pet homelessness. This collaboration underscored the power of community and the difference that can be made when people come together! FOMAS, Spudz Chips, and Kroger are united in their goal to create a better future for the community animals of Louisville
